Pacific Coast Railway E-2

Here's a model of Pacific Coast Railway's (PCRy's) No. E-2, an 0-4-4-0 gear-driven electric locomotive built by the PCRy in 1908/09 and used to haul passengers and freight (mostly sugar beets) between Santa Maria and Guadalupe. This stretch of the PCRy was one of very few 36" gauge electrified railroads in the country. It originally used the wooden cab from PCRy's No. 103 steam locomotive, but that was later replaced with a steel cab. E-2 was scrapped in 1938.
